  24. Calm down. Breathe deeply. :-) Now just be patient a little while and
  25. all will be fine. AWeb will be officialy released and you can browse
  26. the web without needing MUI. As for other InterNet tools there are a
  27. bunch of these around that don't need MUI. AmiFTP is kinda nice. And
  28. ADMaN is a pretty decent Mail/News client. Or use Thor if you want
  29. more power and stuff like QWK and Fidonet as well.

  31. I agree on one point with you. I see some pro-MUI peopel accusing
  32. con-MUi of being fanatic and ridiculing them. But in doing so they
  33. exhibit the same fanatic attitude. Liek the statement "If you don't
  34. like the MUI look, then don't configure it. It'lll look just like
  35. GadTools" Although this statement is true, it's also idiotic. Why
  36. would people want to install >400KB of libs (I just checked 3.1)
  37. to view programs in a Gadtools look. A look they could have had
  38. anyway if the program in question had not required MUI. :-) I can
  39. understand people wanting a pretty interface. Me, I don't mind a
  40. blander look if that means more speed.

  42. BTW, ever tried hitting some MUI buttons and seeying nothing
  43. happening? Then thinking your system is down? Only to find that
  44. a little later the button shows it's selected state? Now that
  45. does not happen with GadTools. When you press it gets selected
  46. right away. This weird MUI behaviour I did not like one bit. But
  47. probably I'm spoiled by GadTools.
